The Program

The whole athlete, every day.

A Day at Bola

One day. Three disciplines. No wasted reps.

From 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

2 HOURS

Sports Performance Training

Professionally periodized strength and speed work on a linear undulating model, the same structure used to build pro athletes. Loading is scaled to each athlete's growth, never a one-size template.

1 HOUR

Sport-Specific Skill Development

Focused, position-relevant skill work backed by ball-tracking and timing data, so every rep is measured and every gain is visible.

2 HOURS

Accredited Academics

Core coursework through SEEO Charter School on the Edgenuity platform, adaptive, standards-aligned, and audited against real college-eligibility requirements.

30 MIN

Beyond the Game Enrichment

A daily elective that builds the person behind the player, one theme each month, taught at two depth levels so grades 5–8 and 9–12 grow together.

Training Methodology

Periodization with a purpose.

Programming follows a deliberate cycle and is capped by age and development, so athletes build power safely and peak when it counts.

The Training Cycle

Every block moves through accumulation, intensification, realization, and deload, a linear undulating model that drives steady gains while managing fatigue.

Scaled by Development

Intensity is set by an athlete's maturation, not just their age. Grades 5–8 build with bodyweight and controlled loads, 9–10 are introduced to the barbell, and 11–12 progress to full periodized loading.

How We Measure

If it isn't measured, it isn't coached.

Every program decision starts with objective data from the same assessment technology used by professional organizations.

â—† VALD ForceDecks
Force-plate testing for jump output, balance, and left-right asymmetry.
â—† VALD ForceFrame
Isometric strength testing and imbalance screening across joints.
â—† VALD SmartSpeed Gates
Timed speed and acceleration, measured to the hundredth of a second.
â—† InBody 970
Body composition, lean mass, and segmental analysis over time.
â—† Trackman
Ball-tracking for objective baseball performance metrics.
How We Compare

Every other option asks you to choose. We don't.

Families looking at online school are usually solving for one thing and giving up another. Flexibility, but nobody in the room. Structure, but a six-hour day that returns two hours of learning. Serious training, but only if it fits around school. Bola Prep Academy was built so that a student in grades 5 through 12 gets accredited coursework, a supervised room, and professional athletic development in the same building on the same day.

01

The same learning in half the day

A traditional six-hour day delivers two to three hours of actual instruction. The rest is passing periods, attendance, announcements, and waiting on twenty-nine other students. We deliver those same two to three hours in two to three hours. Nothing academic was cut. The overhead was, and that is what frees the rest of the day for training.

02

Flexibility fails without supervision

Self-paced curriculum works when someone is accountable for the pace. That is the part home-based programs cannot supply and the part families discover in month three. Our students do their coursework in a supervised room with staff who know exactly where each one stands.

03

Progress you can see, not just feel

Athletic development here is measured, not estimated. Sprint times, force output, body composition, and bat and arm velocity are tracked and reported, so families can see movement in the numbers instead of taking a coach's word for it. No online school offers this at all.

Tours are available by appointment. We will walk you through the academic schedule, the training floor, and how the two fit together across a week.
